Un-Stored Points

It may happen during data processing that the point details for an instrument station, reference object or fixed point are required but the point does not occur in the points database, i.e., the point to which reference is made has never been previously computed or added to the database through the Enter Points or Interrogate Point options.

Figure 1: Prompt when control points are not found during data processing

In this case either the Single Point Entry window or the Enter Points window is displayed (depending on the setting for Prompt for missing control points in Preferences) which will permit the user to enter the required details without interrupting the computation, or the user may choose to abandon the current computation and return to the previous stage.

More Info:

When Geoida is running, details of the purpose and use of each control in this window will be displayed in the bottom panel when the mouse is passed over any active object.
